The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
A condition of the drivers or any other door appearing to lock by itself may be caused by the occupants arm or back of hand contacting the manual door lock lever when exiting the vehicle. This condition involves only one door and the other three doors
will not be locked.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Advise the customer to be cautious when exiting the vehicle to prevent accidental locking of the door. No repairs are recommended.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
