Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 743500 Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolts that retain the assist step support brackets to the body.
  2. Remove the assist step assembly from the vehicle.
  3. Place the step assembly on a clean, prepared surface.

    4. Object Number: 750777 Size: SH
  4. Remove the nuts (1) that retain the assist step to the support brackets.
  5. Remove the support brackets from the assist step.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 750777 Size: SH
  1. Position the assist step to the support brackets.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the nuts (1) that retain the assist step to the support brackets and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 743500 Size: SH
  3. Position the assist step assembly to the vehicle.
  4. Install the bolts that retain the support brackets to the body and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
