Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement.
  2. Remove the screw from the air outlet duct.
  3. Remove the air outlet duct from the console.

    4. Object Number: 284225 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear mode actuator retaining screws.

    5. Object Number: 284229 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear mode actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 284229 Size: SH
  1. Install the mode actuator.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screws to the mode actuator and tighten to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
  3. Install the air outlet duct to the console.
  4. Install the screw to the air outlet duct and tighten to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
  5. Install the console. Refer to Console Replacement.
