Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Scribe a line on the rear camber adjust bolts (both left and right).
  3. Remove the toe link. Refer to Toe Link Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1236975 Size: SH
  4. Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts.
  5. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulators from the stabilizer shaft.

    6. Object Number: 1236972 Size: SH

    Important: It may be necessary to pry down on the coil spring and maneuver the bolt to remove the bolt.

  6. Remove the stabilizer link to knuckle bolts.
  7. Remove the stabilizer shaft.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the stabilizer shaft.

    2. Object Number: 1236975 Size: SH
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulators.
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft brackets.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket retaining bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  5. Install the stabilizer shaft links to knuckle bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  6. Install the toe link. Refer to Toe Link Replacement .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
