Caution: Remove all the air from the hydraulic brake system anytime the hydraulic brake system is opened for repair. The entire bleeding procedure must be followed. Failure to remove all the air in the hydraulic brake system will result in reduced braking performance and possible personal injury.

Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor Electrical Connector

Tip
Thoroughly clean any dirt or contaminants from around the brake fluid pressure sensor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

  1. After installing the new sensor, bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. DO NOT start the engine.
  3. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .

Tighten
17 N·m (13 lb ft)
