Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement.
  3. Position the steering column to the lowest possible position.

  4. Object Number: 1850566  Size: SH
  5. Remove the instrument cluster bezel screws.

  6. Object Number: 1850597  Size: SH
  7. Pull rearward on the instrument cluster bezel, releasing it from the instrument panel.
  8. Rotate the instrument cluster bezel downward enough to expose the instrument cluster screws.

  9. Object Number: 1850599  Size: SH
  10. Remove the instrument cluster screws.
  11. Remove the instrument cluster from the instrument panel assembly.
  12. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the instrument cluster assembly.

  2. Object Number: 1850599  Size: SH
  3. Install the instrument cluster assembly into the instrument panel.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the screws securing the instrument cluster to the instrument panel.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Reposition the instrument cluster bezel.
  8. Push inward on the bezel securing the bezel to the instrument panel.

  9. Object Number: 1850566  Size: SH
  10. Install the screws securing the instrument cluster bezel to the instrument panel.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  12. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement.
  13. Enable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling.
