Removal Procedure
  1. If necessary, remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1774580 Size: MH

    Important: Protect the power steering pump shaft with the shim stock.

  2. Use a small chisel in order to remove the power steering pump shaft seal and discard it.

Installation Procedure
  1. Lubricate the new power steering pump shaft seal using power steering fluid.

    2. Object Number: 1774580 Size: MH
  2. Use a deep socket to evenly press the power steering pump shaft seal into the power steering pump housing.
  3. If necessary, install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
