Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
3. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
4. Remove the multifunction, turn signal switch. Refer to Turn Signal Multifunction Switch Replacement .
5. Remove the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Replacement .

Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Screw (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Tip
Pull rearward on the trim plate bezel releasing it from the instrument panel.
