The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment there is condensation or water in the left rear tail lamp. During the production assembly process the left rear tail lamp may have been damaged while finessing the lamp to the vehicle.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If there is only condensation/water in the left rear tail lamp and none in the right rear tail lamp then replace the lamp assembly. If there is condensation in the right rear lamp refer to bulletin 01-08-42-001C to see if lamp replacement is necessary.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
