The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Customers may complain the Express Up and Express Down feature will not work. This condition occurs after battery power has been removed from the window motor assembly (dead battery or removal of fuse# 50 in the UHBEC).

Recommendation/Instructions:

Perform "Power Window Reinitialization" procedure as found in SI. This will allow the motor to learn the UP position and Down position.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
