Condition
Some customers may comment on a MIL/SES light being illuminated and a transmission performance issues. Technicians may find one of the following codes set:
| • | P0777 Clutch Pressure Control (PC) Solenoid 2 - Stuck On |
| • | P0797 Clutch Pressure Control (PC) Solenoid 3 - Stuck On |
| • | P1825 Internal Mode Switch - Invalid Range |
| • | P2715 Clutch Pressure Control (PC) Solenoid 4 - Stuck On |
Cause
This condition may be caused by calibration parameters that may be too sensitive. This may cause the code to inadvertently set.
Correction
Reprogram the TCM with the latest calibrations if the above concern is encountered. An updated TCM calibration is now available to address this concern. This calibration, or any that follow, is designed to address this concern. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) using the appropriate Service Information (SI) procedures. The new TCM calibrations will be available to dealerships in TIS 2 Web (website version of TIS) beginning 10/15/06. If you cannot access the calibration, call the Techline Customer Support Center at 1-800-828-6860 (English) or 1-800-503-3222 (French) and it will be provided. As always, make sure your Tech 2® is updated with the latest software version.
