The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, a tip in hesitation, SES light, and/or battery light may be experienced. If a SES or battery light is experienced, it will be accompanied by any of the following DTCs: P0ATC, P0A3B, P0AF7, P0AFA, P1AOC, P1A27, P1A9E, P1AA2, P1A4E, P1808, P1809.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the SI diagnostics do not isolate a cause for this concern, reprogram the ECM with the latest calibrations in TIS2Web. Currently, the latest engine diagnostic calibration is titled "Diagnostic enhancements for DTCs P0ATC, 3B, F7, FA and DTCs P1AOC, 27, 9E, A2, 4E. Also fix for hesitation on acceleration". This calibration, or any that follow, is designed to address this concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
