Condition
Some customers may comment that, when cold, the engine may briefly run rough after starting. The engine will start normally but it will run rough as soon as it is started. As the engine warns up, the concern will diminish and the engine will run normally again. In some instances, with the MIL/SES light illuminated, misfire DTCs P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303 or P0304 may set as the engine is running rough.
Cause
This may be the result of a fuel injector that has a mis-positioned director plate and spray holes.
Correction
Refer to SI and utilize all fuel injector diagnostic procedures. If diagnostics do not correct the condition, replace all four fuel injectors.
