After replacing the power steering control module (PSCM) it must be setup with the correct steering tuning.
The ignition is ON.
The PSCM has not undergone the steering tuning selection procedure.
• | DTC C0569 46 is stored in memory. |
• | The driver information center (DIC) displays the POWER STEERING warning message. |
• | The PSCM defaults to steering tuning 1. |
• | A current DTC will clear after the PSCM has been setup with the correct steering tuning. |
• | A history DTC will clear after 100 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles from when the PSCM has been setup. |
A newly replaced PSCM will set DTC C0569 46 on its initial ignition ON cycle.
