For 1990-2009 cars only
- Install the studs into the left cylinder head.
- Install a NEW left exhaust manifold gasket.
- Install the left exhaust manifold.
- Loosely install the left exhaust manifold upper bolts into the left cylinder head.
- Loosely install the left exhaust manifold lower bolts into the left cylinder head.
- Tighten the left exhaust manifold bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Place the left exhaust manifold heat shield in position.
- Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
