Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement.
2. Disconnect the park lock cable. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement.
3. Disconnect the range select lever cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement.
4. Disconnect the shift control electrical connector.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
