Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement.
2. Remove the steering wheel control switches. Refer to Steering Wheel Control Switch Assembly Replacement.

Manual Shift Position Switch Screw (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Remove the manual shift position switch screws.

Tighten
3.5 N·m (31 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the from the switches.
