Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the hood.

    2. Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Disconnect the battery.

    3. Loosen the nut.

  3. Raise the vehicle by its full height.

    4. Object Number: 1945784 Size: SH

    Important: Unlatch the lock.

  4. Remove the intake manifold tuning valve actuator solenoid (2).
    5. • Detach the 2 vacuum hoses (3).
    • Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).
    • Unclip from the intake manifold.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the intake manifold tuning valve actuator solenoid.
    2. • Clip onto the intake manifold.
    • Attach the 2 vacuum hoses.
    • Connect the wiring harness plug.
  2. Lower the vehicle by its full height.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Connect the battery.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  4. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References .
  5. Lower the hood.
