Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery.
  2. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1941219 Size: SH
  3. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.
    4. • Open the I/P compartment cover.
    • Remove the 4 bolts (1).
    • Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
    • Remove the I/P compartment.

  4. Remove the windshield antenna.
    5. • Remove the windshield antenna with a plastic wedge.
    • Guide the wiring harness (1) with the antenna through the instrument panel padding.
  5. Disconnect the antenna cable.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the cable.
  2. Install the windshield antenna.
    3. • Route the wiring harness through the I/P padding to the top of the A-pillar.
    • Install the antenna in the left upper area of the windshield with adhesive.
  3. Insert the I/P compartment.

    4. Connect the wiring harness plug.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Fasten the I/P compartment.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the 4 screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Install the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .
  6. Connect the battery.
