Exchange Program for 2008 1.8L (RPO 2H0) Engine

This bulletin is being revised to inform dealerships that the 1.8L I-4 (VIN 1 -- RPO 2H0) Engine Exchange Program for the 2008 model year has ended for the above vehicle. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 08-06-01-005A (Section 06 -- Engine/Propulsion).

The 2008 1.8L I-4 (VIN 1 -- RPO 2H0) Engine Exchange Program for the above vehicle has ended. It is no longer necessary to contact the PQC prior to doing any work on the 1.8L (RPO 2H0) engine. Technicians should use SI for normal diagnosis and repair procedures. The PQC must still be called for authorization of engine assembly replacement.
