Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1945764  Size: SH
  1. If equipped with air conditioning, remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
  2. If equipped with air conditioning, remove the compressor.
  3. • Remove the 3 bolts (1).
    • Set aside.
  4. Place a drip pan underneath.

  5. Object Number: 1937101  Size: SH
  6. Remove the oil pressure switch/sensor.
  7. • Disconnect the wiring harness connector.
    • Push back the heat shield.
    • Remove the oil pressure switch/sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the oil pressure switch/sensor.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pressure switch/sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

    • Install the wiring harness plug.
    • Install the heat shield.
  3. Vehicles with air conditioning--Attach the compressor.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the 3 bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  5. If equipped with air conditioning, attach the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
  6. Lower the vehicle by its full height.
  7. Inspect the engine oil level and correct if necessary.
  8. Close the hood.
