KM-6001-A Engine Mount

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front toothed belt cover (lower). Refer to Timing Belt Lower Front Cover Replacement.

  2. Object Number: 1936608  Size: LH
  3. Insert KM-6173 Adapter (3).
  4. • Loosen the 4 bolts (arrows) and hand-tighten.
    • Align KM-6173 at the frame.
    • Position the support bearing (1).
    • Journal (2) must sit in the mount at the cylinder block.
    • Tighten the 4 bolts.

  5. Attach KM-6001-A (1).
  6. • Loosen the 3 bolts (arrows) in the adjusting rails.
    • Insert KM-6001-A .
    • The journals (2, 5) must sit in the guide holes of the frame.
      Install the 3 bolts in the adjusting rails.
    • Tighten the 3 bolts.
    • Adjust the support bearings, front (4) and rear (3).

       Note: The guide journals must be seated free from play in the support bearings.

    • Raise the support bearings up to the stop on the guide journals.
  7. Lower the vehicle by its full height.

  8. Object Number: 1945759  Size: SH
  9. Remove the engine damping block, right hand side.
  10. Remove the 6 bolts (1).


    Object Number: 1945760  Size: SH
  11. Remove the engine damping block support (1).
  12. Remove the 3 bolts (2).


    Object Number: 1945761  Size: SH
  13. Remove the front toothed belt cover (center).
  14. Remove 2x from toothed belt cover (rear).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front toothed belt cover (center).
  2. Install 2x to toothed belt cover (rear).

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the support for the engine damping block.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the 3 bolts to 55 N·m (40 lb ft).

  5. Install the engine damping block.
  6. • Install to the support.

    Tighten
    Tighten the 3 bolts to 55 N·m (40 lb ft).

    • Install to the side member.

    Tighten
    Tighten the 3 bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  7. Raise the vehicle by its full height.
  8. Remove KM-6173.
  9. Remove the 4 bolts.

  10. Remove KM-6001-A .
  11. Loosen the 3 screwed connections.

  12. Install the front toothed belt cover (lower). Refer to Timing Belt Lower Front Cover Replacement.
