Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1945837 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement.
  2. Remove the oil flow check valve.

    3. Remove the closure bolt (1).

  3. Remove the spring (2) and the piston (3).
  4. Clean the parts.
  5. Inspect the parts.
  6. Clean the thread.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the oil flow check valve.

    2. Install the spring and the piston in the pump module together with the closure bolt and tighten.

    Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement.
