Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery.
- Remove the front seat belt trim panel (1) in the direction of the arrow.
- Remove the safety belt for front seat.
- Position the seat to the forward most position.
- Remove the front seat at back.
- Remove the front seat.
- Partially unfasten the front seat back cushion cover.
- Disconnect the side airbag.
- Remove the side airbag.
- Expose the airbag wiring harness.
- Remove the height adjuster panel.
- Detach the height adjuster.
- Remove the adjuster wheel for back seat backrest.
- Remove the outside paneling.
- Remove the interior paneling.
- Remove the seat wiring harness plug.
- Expose the seat heating wiring harness.
- Remove the front seat back cushion.
- Detach the upholstery.
- Carefully remove the heater mat (1) from the padding.
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.
Note: Waiting time for airbag deactivation, 1 minute.
Remove the bolt (2).
Remove the 2 bolts (1).
Note: Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
Remove from front of guide.
| • | Remove the cover all around (I). |
| • | Remove the 2 clamps (II). |
Remove the 3 bolts (1).
Release and disconnect the wiring harness plug.
Release with a plastic wedge.
Remove the 2 bolts (1) and remove the lever.
Release using a plastic wedge.
| • | Remove the 2 bolts (1, 3). |
| • | Remove the paneling forwards from guide (2). |

Release the plug.
| 17.1. | Detach the wiring harness plug and expose. |
| 17.2. | Remove the 3 cable ties (1). |
| 18.1. | Remove the 4 bolts (1, 2). |
| 18.2. | Remove the front seat back cushion. |
| 19.1. | Detach the upholstery from around the seat frame. |
| 19.2. | Detach the 16 upholstery clamps. |
| 19.3. | Remove the upholstery. |
Installation Procedure
- Glue the heater mat to the padding.
- Install the upholstery.
- Install the front seat back cushion.
- Insert the seat heating wiring harness.
- Install the airbag wiring harness.
- Install the seat wiring harness plug.
- Install the interior paneling.
- Install the outside paneling.
- Install the adjuster wheel for back seat backrest.
- Install the height adjuster.
- Install the height adjuster panel.
- Insert the side airbag.
- Connect and lock the wiring harness plug.
- Attach the side airbag.
- Install the front seat back cushion cover.
- Install the front seat.
- Install the front seat at back.
- Shift the seat to starting position.
- Install the safety belt to front seat.
- Install the safety belt trim panel.
- Connect the battery.
- For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References.

| 2.2. | Install the 16 padding clamps. |
| 2.3. | Install the upholstery all around the seat frame. |
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the 4 bolts to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).
Install with 4 cable ties.
Connect the plug.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).
Clip in the adjuster wheel.
Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft)..
Clip in the panel.
Note: Note correct arrangement of wiring harness.
Tighten
Tighten the 3 bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

Note: Connect the wiring harness plug.
Insert into front guide.
Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
