Removal Procedure
- If equipped with air conditioning, remove the drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement.
- If equipped with air conditioning, remove the compressor.
• | Remove the 3 bolts (1). |
- Place a drip pan underneath.
- Remove the oil pressure switch/sensor.
• | Disconnect the wiring harness connector. |
• | Push back the heat shield. |
• | Remove the oil pressure switch/sensor. |
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the oil pressure switch/sensor.
Tighten
Tighten the oil pressure switch/sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
• | Install the wiring harness plug. |
• | Install the heat shield. |
- Vehicles with air conditioning--Attach the compressor.
Tighten
Tighten the 3 bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
- If equipped with air conditioning, attach the drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement.
- Lower the vehicle by its full height.
- Inspect the engine oil level and correct if necessary.
- Close the hood.
