Front Side Door Window Replacement Sedan

Warning: Refer to Express Down Feature Warning in the Preface section.

1. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.



2. Remove the water vapor barrier.

2.1.	Release 2 loom of cables clips.

2.2.	Remove the 2 front door retainer base inner paneling (1)

3. Lower the window.



4. Remove the window belt inner sealing strip.

Pull sealing strip carefully from behind beginning at the top.




5. Remove the belt outer sealing strip.

Remove sealing strip carefully from behind beginning from the top and take out from the rearview mirror backwards.




6. Drill out the rear side door window channel.

Drill out the 2 rivets.

7. Remove the window channel.



8. Remove the front door window.

Remove the 2 bolts (2).

Note: Lower the window to the lowest position and remove from the window channel (3).

9. Remove the window.

1. Positioning the front door window.

Position in window channel.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Fasten the front door window and tighten the 2 bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
3. Guide the window upwards and position evenly in weatherstrip and tighten the 2 bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

Note: Observe installation direction.

4. Install the rear front door window channel.

4.1.	Install the 2 rivets.

4.2.	Position in window channel.

5. Install the belt outer sealing strip.
6. Install the belt inner sealing strip.

Note: Damaged water vapor barrier must be replaced

7. Install the water vapor barrier.

7.1.	Apply the adhesive tape to door frame according to the shaded areas shown.

7.2.	Cut the foil to size.

7.3.	Provide cut-outs for inside handle with bearing supports and, if available, manual window actuation.

7.4.	Install the water vapor barrier without creases.

7.5.	Install the 2 loom of cables.

7.6.	Install the 2 front door retainer base inner paneling.

8. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
9. Close the window.

Front Side Door Window Replacement Coupe

Warning: Refer to Express Down Feature Warning in the Preface section.

1. Lower the window.
2. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.



3. Remove the water vapor barrier.

3.1.	Remove the outside rearview mirror wiring harness.

3.2.	Remove the 2 cable brackets (2).

3.3.	Remove the 2 holding angles.

3.4.	Remove the 2 pins (1).





Note: Remove the window belt sealing strip from inside with the appropriate tool.

4. Remove the belt outer sealing strip.

4.1.	Remove the window sealing strip from the rear window frame bracket.

4.2.	Remove the fastening clip from the outer window frames.




5. Remove the rear window channel.

Drill out the 2 rivets.

6. Remove the rear window channel.




Note: Guide the window so in position that the fastening bolts align with the mounting holes.

7. Remove the front door window.

7.1.	Remove the 2 bolts (1).

7.2.	Remove the window regulator from its guide.

8. Remove the window channel on the inner door frame.

Drill out the 2 blind rivets (2).

Note: Lower the window and simultaneously tilt the window forwards.

9. Remove the front door window.

9.1.	Remove the window from the window regulator guide.

9.2.	Remove the window upwards.

Note: Gently raise the window and simultaneously tilt the window forwards.

1. Install the front door window.

1.1.	Position the window downwards.

1.2.	Position the window in window regulator guide.

2. Install the window channel on the inner door frame.

Rivet on 2 rivets.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Note: Guide the window to position the fastening bolts align with the mounting holes.

3. Fasten the front door window and tighten the 2 bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

3.1.	Position the window regulator arm in the window guide.

3.2.	Guide the window upwards and place evenly in weatherstrip and tighten the 2 bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

4. Position the rear window channel.
5. Install the rear window channel.

Rivet on 2 rivets.

6. Install the belt outer sealing strip.

6.1.	Install fastening clip on the outer window frame.

6.2.	Install window channel strip in the window channel bracket.

6.3.	Install the window channel strip onto the door folding.

7. Install the water vapor barrier.

7.1.	Install the external mirror wiring harness.

7.2.	Replace the 2 cable brackets.

7.3.	Install the 2 holding angles.

7.4.	Install the 2 pins.

8. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
9. Close the window.
