Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Express Down Feature Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Lower the window.
  2. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1937550 Size: LF
  3. Partly loosen the water vapor barrier.
    4. 3.1. Remove the 2 holding angles.
    3.2. Remove the 2 pins.

    Object Number: 1937556 Size: SH

    Note: Remove the window channel weatherstrip from inside with the appropriate tool.

  4. Remove the outer belt sealing strip
    5. 4.1. Remove the window channel weatherstrip from the rear window frame bracket.
    4.2. Remove the fastening clip from the outer window frames.

  5. Remove the rear window channel.

    6. Drill out the 2 blind rivets.

  6. Remove the rear window channel.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the rear window channel.
  2. Install the rear window channel.

    3. Rivet on 2 blind rivets.

  3. Install the outer belt sealing strip.
    4. 3.1. Install the fastening clip on the outer window frame.
    3.2. Install the window channel weatherstrip in the window channel bracket.
    3.3. Install the window belt sealing strip onto the door folding.
  4. Fasten the water vapor barrier.
    5. 4.1. Install the 2 holding angles.
    4.2. Install the 2 pins.
  5. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  6. Close the window.

Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Express Down Feature Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1937550 Size: LF
  1. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Partly loosen water vapor barrier.
    3. 2.1. Remove the 2 front door retainer base inner panel.
    2.2. Loosen the water vapor barrier in the area of the hatching.

  3. Drill out the window channel.

    4. Drill out the 2 rivets.

  4. Remove the window channel.

Installation Procedure

    Note: Observe installation direction.

  1. Install the rear front door window channel.
    2. 1.1. Rivet on 2 rivets.
    1.2. Position in lower guide rail.
  2. Install the water vapor barrier.

    3. Install the 2 front door retainer base inner panel.

  3. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
