Tail Lamp Wiring Harness Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

    Note: Replace or repair the wiring harnesses observing the safety regulations of electrics/electronics.

  1. Disconnect the battery.
  2. Remove the rear compartment, side trim panel, both sides. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.

  3. Object Number: 1947625  Size: LF
  4. Remove the wiring harness, rear end panel.
  5. • Disconnect the 7 wiring harness plugs.
    • Disconnect the ground connection.
    • Remove the nut.
    • Release the 16 clips.
    • Remove the wiring harness.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the wiring harness, rear end panel.
  2. • Position the wiring harness.
    • Install the 16 clips.
    • Connect the ground connection.

    Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

    • Connect the 7 wiring harness plugs.
  3. Install the rear compartment, side trim panel, both sides. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Connect the battery.
  5. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References.

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery.

  4. Remove the wiring harness, rear end panel.
  5. • Disconnect the 7 wiring harness plugs.
    • Disconnect the ground connection.
    • Remove the nut.
    • Release the 16 clips.
    • Remove the wiring harness.

Installation Procedure

  2. • Position the wiring harness.
    • Install the 16 clips.
    • Connect the ground connection.

    Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

    • Connect the 7 wiring harness plugs.
  3. Install the rear compartment side panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Connect the battery.
  5. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References.
