Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness plug of the vacuum pump.

    3. Object Number: 1998412 Size: LH
  3. Remove the vacuum pump (2).
    4. • Detach the vacuum hose (1).
    • Unscrew the 2 screw connections (3).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the vacuum pump.

    2. Attach the vacuum hose.

    Tighten
    Tighten the 2 screw connections to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  2. Connect the wiring harness plug.
  3. Close the hood.
