KM-652 Flywheel Holding Tool

1. Remove the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement.
2. Remove the thrust plate and clutch disc. Refer to Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Pilot Bearing Replacement.
3. Remove the flywheel.

•	Lock the flywheel via the starter ring gear with KM-652 (1).

•	Remove the 6 bolts.

1. Install the flywheel.

•	Clean the thread in the crankshaft.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

•	Use new bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the 6 bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft) plus 30 degrees plus 15 degrees.

•	Remove KM-652 .

2. Install the thrust plate and clutch disc. Refer to Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Pilot Bearing Replacement.
3. Install the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement.
