Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1948676 Size: LH
  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement.
  2. Remove pressure line (2) from central release.

    3. Remove the union nut.

  3. Remove the pressure line (1).
    4. • Disconnect the fastening sleeve for pressure line on clutch housing (arrows).
    • Remove the fastening sleeve with pressure line upwards and slightly out of transmission.
    • Disconnect the fastening sleeve for the pressure line.
      Carefully disengage the retaining lugs (3).
    • Remove the pressure line.

    Note: Replace the damaged components.

  4. Inspect all parts for damage.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1948677 Size: LH

    Note: 

       • Note seating and condition of the O-ring (2). Damage to or absence of the O-ring leads to leaks.
       • The lug (arrow) on the sleeve must sit in the groove in the clutch housing.

  1. Install the fastening sleeve for the pressure line (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the pressure line.

    3. Connect the pressure line in fastening sleeve.

    Tighten
    Tighten the pressure line on the central release to 14 N·m (124 lb in).

  3. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement.
