Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2009 🢒 Astra 🢒 Transmission 🢒 Automatic Transmission - AF17-4 🢒 Torque Converter Housing Installation

  1. Install the NEW 2 transmission fluid passage seals (89) and 1 transmission fluid passage seal (85).

    2. Object Number: 2002854 Size: SH
  2. Remove any gasket material and be careful that no oil is on the contacting surfaces of the torque converter housing (10).
  3. Apply a 3 mm (1/8 in) bead of sealant GM P/N 89020326 (Canadian P/N 89021188) to the torque converter housing as shown.
  4. Install the torque converter housing (10).

    5. Object Number: 2002527 Size: SH
  5. Install thread locker GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) on the torque converter bolts (801, 802, 813).

    6. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  6. Install the 15 torque converter bolts (801, 802, 813). Tighten bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
