Liftgate Emblem/Nameplate Replacement Sedan

Removal Procedure

    Important: Do not heat the chrome coating to more than 90°C (194°F) as there is a risk of damage. Put the heat gun on its lowest setting and maintain a sufficient distance.

  1. Heat the lettering with a heat gun and pull off the backing.

    2. Important: Clean with cleaners naphtha or silicone remover.

  2. Clean the surface to be bonded.

Installation Procedure

Important: Install the emblem/nameplate in the center.

Position the lettering in accordance with the dimensional data and stick on.

Saturn Emblem

Height above trim strip to lower edge of the logo (I), 68 mm (2.7 in).

Astra Lettering Left

    • Distance from upper edge of strip to the lower edge of lettering (IV), 38 mm (1.5 in).
    • Distance from left of the lettering to the lower corner of the strip (V), 30 mm (1.2 in).

Engine Designation on the Right

    • Distance from upper edge of strip to lower edge of lettering (II), 38 mm (1.5 in).
    • Distance from the right of the lettering the lower right corner of the strip (III), 33 mm (1.3 in).
