Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement Coupe

1. Remove the center pillar deflection sheave.

•	Remove the bolt.

•	Remove the deflection sheave cover (2).

2. Remove the upper center pillar trim.

•	Release the 2 airbag access panel (1).

•	Release the 2 center pillar clips with a plastic wedge.

1. Install the upper center pillar trim.

•	Install the 2 center access pillars.

•	Install the 2 airbag panel clips.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the center pillar deflection sheave.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

3. Install the deflection sheave cover.

Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement Sedan

1. Remove the front seat belt trim panel (1).

Release and remove the trim panel upwards (arrow).

2. Remove the seat belt from front seat.

Remove the bolt (2).




3. Remove the upper center pillar trim.

•	Remove the access panel (1).

•	Loosen the upper center pillar panel in the lower area (2) and remove the upper center pillar panel.

•	Remove the 6 clips.

4. Remove the upper center pillar trim.

1. Install the upper center pillar trim.

•	Place the center pillar trim, install upper center pillar in lower center pillar trim.

•	Install the 6 clips.

•	Install the center pillar trim.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Note: Use screw locking compound.

2. Install the seat belt at the front seat.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

3. Install the seat belt trim panel.

Install the trim panel.
