Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Warning in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Liftgate Assist Rod Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the strut.
    3. 2.1. Support the hood.
    2.2. Open the 2 retaining clips.
    2.3. Remove the strut.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the strut.
  2. Install the strut support clip.
  3. Close the hood.
