Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear bench seat.
1.1. | Release the 2 brackets (1) front. |
1.2. | Support the 2 bench seats from the rear bracket. |
1.3. | Push the seat simultaneously backwards and upward. |
- Remove the head restraint.
- Remove the rear seat backrest.
3.1. | Remove the bolt at the front and remove the belt buckle. |
3.2. | Remove the 2 side bolts. |
3.3. | Fold down the rear seat backrest. |
3.4. | Remove the bolt at back. |
- Remove the rear seat backrest.
Remove the rear seat backrest from side guide.
- Remove the rear seat backrest cover.
Remove the 9 clips (l).
- Remove the right bracket.
Remove the 2 bolts (1), (ll).
- Remove the left bracket.
Remove the bolts (2), (III).
- Remove the upholstery covering all the way around.
- Remove the rear seat backrest center pivot support.
9.2. | Remove the release cable with bolt from hinge. |
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the rear seat backrest center pivot support.
Install the release cable with bolt in hinge.
Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts.
- Insert the surrounding upholstery covering.
- Install the left bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m(18 lb ft).
- Install the right bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 25 N·m(18 lb ft).
- Install the rear seat backrest cover.
Install the 9 clips.
- Install the headrest.
- Insert the rear seat backrest.
- Install the rear seat backrest.
Tighten
• | Tighten the 2 side bolts to 20 N·m(15 lb ft). |
• | Tighten the screw at back to 20 N·m(15 lb ft). |
• | Fold down the rear seat backrest. |
| Note: Use screw locking compound.

• | Insert the belt buckle. |
Tighten
Tighten the front screw to 20 N·m(15 lb ft).
- Install the rear seat.
Insert the rear seat cushion and position.
