Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1942388 Size: SH
  1. Remove the bench seat.
    2. 1.1. Unlock the 2 front brackets (1).
    1.2. Support the 2 bench seats from the rear bracket.
    1.3.  Push seat simultaneously backwards and upward.
  2. Remove the head restraint.

    3. Object Number: 1942115 Size: LH
  3. Remove the rear seat backrest.
    4. 3.1. Remove the bolt at front.
    3.2.  Remove the belt buckle.
    3.3. Remove the 2 side bolts.
    3.4. Fold down the rear seat backrest.
    3.5. Remove the bolt at the back.

    Object Number: 1941340 Size: SH

    Note: Second mechanic is required.

  4. Remove the rear seat backrest.

    5. Remove the rear seat backrest from the side guide.


    Object Number: 1936708 Size: LH
  5. Remove the rear seat backrest cover.

    6. Remove the 9 clips (l).

  6. Remove the right bracket.

    7. Remove the 2 bolts (1), (ll).

  7. Remove the upholstery all the way around.
  8. Remove the head restraint guide sleeve.

    9. Remove the head restraint guide sleeves 2.

  9. Remove the cushion cover.
    10. • Remove the 7 clamps.
    • Remove the cushion cover.
  10. Remove the release handle panel seat backrest.

    11. Object Number: 1944570 Size: SH
  11. Remove the rear seat back cushion latch.
    12. • Drill out the 4 rivets.
    • Pull the cable from fastening plate.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the rear seat back cushion latch.
    2. 1.1. Install the cable into the fastening plate.
    1.2. Install the 4 rivets.
  2. Install the release handle panel seat backrest.
  3. Install the cushion cover.
    4. 3.1. Position the cushion cover.
    3.2.  Install the 7 clamps.
  4. Install the head restraint guide sleeve.

    5. Engage the 2 head restraint guide sleeves (audible click).

  5. Insert the surrounding cushion cover.

    6. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  6. Install the right bracket.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the 2 bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the rear seat backrest cover.

    8. Install the 9 clips.

  8. Install the headrest.
  9. Insert the rear seat backrest.

    10. Note:  Use screw locking compound.

  10. Install the rear seat backrest.

    11. Tighten

        • Tighten the 2 side bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
        • Tighten the back screw to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
  11. Fold down the rear seat backrest.
  12. Insert the seat belt buckle.

    13. Tighten
    Tighten the front screw to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  13. Install the rear seat.

    14. Insert the rear seat cushion and position.
