Seat Belt Height Adjuster Replacement - Front Coupe

1. Remove the center pillar trim panel.

•	Pull out the access panel (1) from center pillar trim panel.

Remove the molding from the seat with a plastic wedge.

•	Remove the seat belt bolts (3) from the center pillar trim panel.

Remove the cap (2).

•	Remove the upper center pillar trim panel upwards.




2. Remove the front height adjuster.

Remove the 2 bolts (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

1. Install the front height adjuster.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

2. Install the upper center pillar trim panel.

•	Guide the center pillar trim panel from above in the inner paneling guide front of the rear quarter panel.

•	Install the upper center pillar trim panel.

Install the panel.

Tighten
Tighten the seat belt bolt on the center pillar to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

•	Install the cover cap.

Seat Belt Height Adjuster Replacement - Front Sedan

1. Remove the upper center pillar access trim panel.

•	Release the access panel (1).

•	Loosen the center pillar trim panel in the upper area and remove upper center pillar trim panel (2).

•	Release the 6 clips.

•	Remove the center pillar trim panel.




2. Remove the seat belt with deflection guide.

•	Remove the bolt (1).

•	Remove the deflection guide (2).




3. Remove the center pillar weatherstrip.

Remove the 3 clips.





Note: Ensure the nut does not drop off.

4. Remove the height adjuster (1).

Remove the 2 nuts (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

1. Install the height adjuster.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 nuts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

2. Install the center pillar weatherstrip.

Install the 3 clips.

3. Install the seat belt with deflection guide.

Install the roller.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

4. Install the center pillar trim panel.

•	Install the center pillar trim panel.

•	Install the upper in the lower center pillar trim panel.

•	Install the 6 clips.

•	Install the access panel.
