Seat Belt Height Adjuster Replacement - Front Coupe
Removal Procedure
- Remove the center pillar trim panel.
• | Pull out the access panel (1) from center pillar trim panel. |
| Remove the molding from the seat with a plastic wedge. |
• | Remove the seat belt bolts (3) from the center pillar trim panel. |
• | Remove the upper center pillar trim panel upwards. |
- Remove the front height adjuster.
Remove the 2 bolts (1).
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the front height adjuster.
Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
- Install the upper center pillar trim panel.
• | Guide the center pillar trim panel from above in the inner paneling guide front of the rear quarter panel. |
• | Install the upper center pillar trim panel. |
Tighten
Tighten the seat belt bolt on the center pillar to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
Seat Belt Height Adjuster Replacement - Front Sedan
Removal Procedure
- Remove the upper center pillar access trim panel.
• | Release the access panel (1). |
• | Loosen the center pillar trim panel in the upper area and remove upper center pillar trim panel (2). |
• | Remove the center pillar trim panel. |
- Remove the seat belt with deflection guide.
• | Remove the deflection guide (2). |
- Remove the center pillar weatherstrip.
Remove the 3 clips.
Note: Ensure the nut does not drop off.
- Remove the height adjuster (1).
Remove the 2 nuts (2).
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the height adjuster.
Tighten
Tighten the 2 nuts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
- Install the center pillar weatherstrip.
Install the 3 clips.
- Install the seat belt with deflection guide.
Install the roller.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
- Install the center pillar trim panel.
• | Install the center pillar trim panel. |
• | Install the upper in the lower center pillar trim panel. |
• | Install the access panel. |
