Removal Procedure
- Remove the bench seat.
| • | Disconnect the 2 brackets (1) front. |
| • | Support the 2 bench seat from rear bracket. |
| • | Push the seat simultaneously backwards and upward. |
- Remove the rear seat backrest.
| • | Remove the 2 bolts at the front. |
| • | Remove the seat belt buckle. |
| • | Remove the 2 bolts, side. |
| • | Fold down the rear seat backrest. |
| • | Remove the 2 bolts at the back. |
- Remove the rear seat backrest.
Remove the rear seat backrest from the side guide.
- Remove the head restraints.
- Detach the rear seat backrest cover.
Remove the 11 clips.
- Detach the left (1), right (2) and center hinge brackets.
Remove the 3 bolts.
- Detach the upholstery covering all the way round.
- Detach the head restraint guide sleeve.
Detach the 4 head restraint guide sleeve with a suitable tool.
- Detach the seat belt panel.
Unclip the cover.
- Remove the upholstery covering.
| • | Remove the upholstery covering. |
- Remove the upholstery padding.
- Detach the rear center seat belt.
| • | Support the seat belt lock cable. |
| • | Remove the belt, arrow. |
- Detach the rear center cable seat belt lock from the seat belt roller.
Release and remove the cable.
Installation Procedure
- Install the rear center cable seat belt lock to the seat belt roller.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Attach the rear center seat belt.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).
- Support the rear center cable seat belt lock.
- Install the pad.
- Install the upholstery covering.
| • | Position the upholstery covering. |
- Install the seat belt panel.
- Install the head restraint guide sleeve.
Install the 4 head restraint guide sleeves, audible click.
- Install the surrounding upholstery covering.
- Attach the left, right and center hinge brackets.
Tighten
Tighten the 3 bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Attach the rear seat backrest cover.
Attach the 11 clips.
- Install the head restraints.
- Insert the rear seat backrest.
Note: Use screw locking compound.
- Install the rear seat backrest.
Tighten
Tighten the 2 screws at back to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
| • | Fold down the rear seat backrest. |
| • | Insert the 2 belt buckles. |
Tighten
| • | Tighten the 2 bolts, side to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
|
| • | Tighten the 2 front bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
|
- Insert the rear seat cushions and lock.
