J 39637 KM-6626 Wiper Arm Puller
Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.
- Disconnect the battery.
- Remove the windshield air inlet screen (1).
- Remove the wiper arms (2).
• | Remove the wiper arm using
J 39637 / KM-6626. |
• | Disconnect the hose for the washer/wiper system. |
- Remove the windshield air inlet screen (1).
• | Lift the windshield air inlet screen in the vicinity of the dash. |
| Note: Carefully release the clips from the inside from the upper dash.

• | Release the 5 clips (3). |
• | Remove the hose for the air inlet screen (2). |
- Remove the power horn.
• | Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1). |
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the power horn.
• | Position the power horn. |
Tighten
Tighten the 2 nuts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
• | Connect the wiring harness plug. |
- Install the windshield air inlet screen.
• | Install the hose to the air inlet screen. |
- Install the windshield wiper arms.
| Note: Ensure correct installation position of the windshield wiper arms.

• | Position the 2 windshield wiper arms on the shaft. |
Tighten
Tighten the 2 nuts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).
- Install the windshield air inlet screen.
- Connect the battery.
