Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the windshield air inlet screen (1).

    2. Object Number: 1936372 Size: SH
  2. Remove the wiper arms (2).
    3. • Remove the 2 covers.
    • Remove the 2 nuts.
    • Remove the 2 washers.
    • Remove the 2 windshield wiper arms from the shaft.

    Object Number: 1941048 Size: LH
  3. Remove the horn.
    4. • Remove the nut (1).
    • Disconnect the wiring harness plug (2).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the horn.

    2. Connect the wiring harness plug.

    Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  2. Install the windshield air inlet screen.
    3. • Install the hose for the windshield wash system.
    • Install the 5 clips.
  3. Install the windshield wiper arms.

    4.    Note: Ensure correct installation position of the windshield wiper arms.

    • Position the 2 windshield wiper arms on the shaft.
    • Install the 2 washers.

    Tighten
    Tighten the 2 nuts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

    • Install the 2 covers.
  4. Install the windshield air inlet screen.
