For 1990-2009 cars only
- Bleed the electro-hydraulic supply unit by starting and stopping the engine three times.
- To bleed the hydraulic system, start the engine and turn the steering wheel from the left stop to the right stop three times, while the engine is running.
Important: Leave a brief pause before each starting operation.
Inspection Procedure
- Switch off engine and inspect the fluid level; if necessary top up to upper marking on oil dipstick.
- Inspect the power steering for correct operation and possible noise factor, by starting the engine and turning the steering wheel from the left stop to the right stop several times.
- Inspect all connection points for the power steering visually for leaks.
