Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2003 🢒 ION 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Cooling 🢒 Engine Splash Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

    2. Object Number: 851684 Size: SH
  2. Right side only, remove the air cleaner intake duct bolt.
  3. Remove the push-in retainers from the engine splash shield except the one hidden by the inner fender.
  4. Remove the front 3 retainers and reposition to access the hidden fastener.
  5. Remove the hidden fastener and remove the splash shield.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 851684 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine splash shield by inserting the push-in retainers.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Right side only, install the air cleaner intake duct bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  3. Install the front fender liner . Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  4. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
