Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the screws that retain the grille applique to the grille.

    3. Object Number: 864043 Size: SH
  3. Depress the retainer tabs on the grille applique.
  4. Gently pull on the grille applique. Remove the grille applique.
  5. If the grille applique is being replaced, remove the emblem. Refer to Radiator Grille Emblem/Nameplate Replacement .

Installation Procedure
  1. If the grille applique was replaced, install the emblem. Refer to Radiator Grille Emblem/Nameplate Replacement .
  2. If the grille appliques was replaced, install a new grille applique molding. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Molding Replacement

    3. Object Number: 864043 Size: SH
  3. Align the upper center grille tabs into the retaining pockets.
  4. Gently push the upper center grille into position until the grille retainer tabs are seated into place.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the screws that retain the grille applique to the grille.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Close the hood.
