Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  2. Object Number: 864045  Size: SH
  3. Remove the push-in retainers from the front and lower portion of the wheelhouse liner.
  4. Remove the screw from the front and lower portion of the wheelhouse liner.

  5. Object Number: 864046  Size: SH
  6. Release the rear of the fascia from the fender support brackets.

  7. Object Number: 870465  Size: SH
  8. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector from the lamp, if equipped.

  9. Object Number: 864048  Size: SH
  10. For the sedan and tuner coupe, remove the push-in retainers from the upper grille.
  11. Slide the fascia forward and remove the fascia from the vehicle.

  13. For the sedan only, if a new fascia is being installed, remove the upper grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .
  14. If a new fascia is being installed, remove the lower grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .

Installation Procedure

  1. If a new fascia is being installed, install the lower grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .
  2. For the sedan only, if a new fascia is being installed, install the upper grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 864048  Size: SH
  4. Position the fascia to the vehicle.
  5. Install the push-in retainers into the upper grille.

  6. Object Number: 870465  Size: SH
  7. Connect the fog lamp electrical connector to the lamp, if equipped.

  8. Object Number: 864046  Size: SH
  9. Press the rear of the fascia into the fender support brackets.

  10. Object Number: 864045  Size: SH
  11. Install the push-in retainers into the front and lower portion of the wheelhouse liner.
  12. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  13. Install the screw into the front and lower portion of the wheelhouse liner.
  14. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  15. Lower the vehicle.
