Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  2. Object Number: 870465  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the fog lamp bulb connector, if equipped.
  4. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

  5. Object Number: 872070  Size: SH
  6. Remove the screws from the lower grille to the fascia.
  7. Remove the lower grille from the fascia.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 872070  Size: SH
  1. Position the lower grille to the fascia. Press the grille into place.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the lower grille retaining screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

  6. Object Number: 870465  Size: SH
  7. Connect the fog lamp bulb connector, if equipped.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
