Service Manual Update Regarding Tightening Procedure and Specification for the Ball Joint-to-Steering Knuckle Nut

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform technicians of the correct tightening procedure and specification for the ball joint-to-steering knuckle nut. The correct tightening procedure and specification is as follows:

First pass 50 N·m (37 ft-lbs)

Reverse nut 3/4 turn

Second pass 50 N·m(37 ft-lbs) plus 30 degrees
