Important: This bulletin is not applicable
to GM of Canada retailers.
Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to help expedite the return of CDs or DVDs that
are stuck in the CD player when the CD player is returned as a core part. Please make
a copy of the CD/DVD Return Information form on page 2 of this bulletin. Complete
the form each time when returning a CD player as a core part, if there are CDs or
DVDs still in the CD player. Place completed form along with the completed yellow
core return tag (item S03 99300) in the box with the CD player to be returned as a
core return.
Important: Retailer personnel should not try to remove
stuck CDs or DVDs. Damaging the CD player will void core credit payment to the retailer.
Important: This bulletin does not apply to the DVD player
in the Rear Seat Entertainment System (RPO U32) in 2002-2005 Saturn L-Series
vehicles.
