Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1386444 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.

    2. Object Number: 1686887 Size: SH
  2. Remove the two fasteners.
  3. Remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner housing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1386444 Size: SH
  1. Install the MAF sensor into the air cleaner housing.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1686887 Size: SH
  2. Secure the MAF sensor to the air cleaner housing with the 2 fasteners.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the 2 fasteners to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
