Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement Power Regulator

1. Lower the window to the full down position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the radio speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
4. Remove the water deflector in order to access the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .



5. Disengage the door glass to the regulator sash channel clips (2). Separate the door glass from the sash channel (1).
6. Push the window to the up position and tape in place.



7. Loosen the power window regulator bolts. Remove the rear regulator bolt.



8. Lift the window regulator, disengaging the loosened bolts from the door.
9. Disconnect the regulator electrical connector.
10. Remove the power window regulator from the door.

1. Loosely install the four forward fasteners into the window regulator.
2. Position the power window regulator in the door.



3. Connect the door window regulator electrical connector.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

4. Install the power window regulator bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the regulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).




5. Remove the tape from the window. Push the window down to the regulator sash channel.
6. Slide the glass sash clips (2) into the window regulator sash channel (1).
7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
8. Install the radio speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
9. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement Manual Regulator

1. Position the window to the three quarter down position.
2. Remove the window crank handle. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .
3. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Remove the water deflector in order to access the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
5. Remove the front door speaker (2). Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .



6. Disengage the door window to the regulator sash channel clips (2), separating the door window from the sash channel.
7. Push the window to the closed position and tape in place.



8. Remove the rear manual window regulator rear bolt. Loosen the other four bolts.
9. Remove the manual window regulator from the door (1).

1. Loosely install the 4 forward bolts into the manual window regulator assembly.
2. Position the manual window regulator in the door (1). Load the regulator through the rear hole (1). Access the regulator through the speaker hole (2).

3. Install the 4 forward bolts into the door. Install the rear manual window regulator bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the regulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

4. Remove the tape from the window and push it down to the regulator.



5. Slide the window sash clips (2) into the manual window regulator sash channel (1).
6. Install the front door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
9. Install the manual window crank handle. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .
